
Tew Jing Jong
Praised for his “silky elegance and muscular grit” in Beethoven’s Second Piano Concerto, Tew Jing Jong won First Prize at the 12th Singapore National Piano and Violin Competition (NPVC) 2019. He has performed at major events including the NPVC Prize Winner’s Concert and the 2021 Light to Night Festival, and recorded National Day by Singaporean composer Wang Chenwei. His accolades span international competitions in Singapore, Malaysia, Taipei, and Kuala Lumpur. He is a recipient of the NAFA and Leong Yoon Pin Scholarships and holds a First Class Honours degree from the Royal College of Music London - Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, under the tutelage of Dr. Nicholas Ong.
